OpenFeint Names Naoki Aoyagi CEO

Company founder Jason Citron leaving company to pursue new opportunities

September 14, 2011- Burlingame, Calif. – Mobile social gaming leader OpenFeint announced today that it has named Naoki Aoyagi as its new CEO. Aoyagi replaces co-founder Jason Citron who is leaving the company to pursue new opportunities.

“In just over 24 months, OpenFeint has grown to over 120 million users across 7,000 games. I thank Jason for his leadership growing the company and wish him well in his new adventures,” said Naoki Aoyagi, CEO of OpenFeint. “I’m excited to lead OpenFeint through its next phase of growth.”

Naoki Aoyagi joins OpenFeint from parent company GREE where he joined in 2006. He has nearly 10 years of experience in financial operations and management in the technology, media, telecom and internet sectors, including four years at Deutsche Bank.

Additionally, OpenFeint and GREE plan to announce integration plans between the respective U.S. operations of both companies over the next few weeks.
